OK. So here. I’m going to say it. I said it about the Levain Chocolate Chip Cookies which was Best Chocolate Chip Cookie Ever.
And I’m going to say the same thing about these brownies.
Best Brownies Ever.
So, now I don’t know what to do. Do I keep trying other brownie recipes, to see if they’re really better? I don’t know. It doesn’t seem necessary somehow.
These brownies are so moist and so fudgey and so chocolatey, they are absolutely awesome.
And I didn’t have them with any vanilla ice cream. I don’t know if I could handle it if I did that.
So these brownies are not just the best I’ve ever had. They have a special ingredient that makes them actually, sort of, kind of, good for you. I didn’t want to put it in the title because I didn’t want to scare anyone off.

Quinoa flour.
Quinoa is a great source of protein, fiber, iron and other minerals and general good for you stuff. I found Quinoa Flour at our local grocer (Jimbo’s FTW). It wasn’t at the “major” one in our area, but if you have a Whole Foods or another smaller type grocer, you will find it. Or ask them if you can’t find it because I asked and then the next time I went and looked they had it.

Fudgey Brownies
Source: The Lovely Pantry via Badger Girl Learns to Cook
- 10 Tablespoons butter (I used Earth Balance non-dairy)
- 1 1/4 cups superfine sugar
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup Quinoa flour
Preheat oven to 325º. Line an 8×8 pan with parchment paper.
In a saucepan, add butter, sugar and cocoa. Melt over low heat, stirring constantly to prevent burning, until well combined.
Pour chocolate mixture into a medium bowl and whisk in eggs and vanilla.
Sift in flour and stir to incorporate.
Pour into the lined 8×8 pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
Try to let them cool a bit before chomping into these. Goes great with ice cream!!!! Of course!!
Best brownies ever. I said it!!
